If you buy this app it will be the most fun you will ever have you can draw pictures for no reason, stare at your mountain, play the sweet tunes, and top off your mountain with a slice of cake 10/10 app worth the

Its ok but not a game it shouldent be listed as one its good as art but not really worth the $0.99 maybe make us be able to sculpt and change and interact with the mountain because lets face it right now it might as well be a photo of a mountain with a virtual piano

look up the "cheat codes" on steam for some melodies that make the mountain do amazing things. the game gets even more beautiful when the record player / gramophone hits your mountain. stellar.

Your a mountain. You get stuff to go on your mountain. You get to play piano. There are pies. Thats it... Its fun...

I dont understand nothing ever happens dont know why I payed $0.99

why is there no atmosphere and the mountain space turns into a pink sphere when zoomed out (iPod 4)

COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY

Mountain is definitely something that I havent seen before. It throws away the fast-paced, heart-pounding action in exchange for a slow, relaxing experience. Since its so slow, it wouldnt really be good for people who prefer more action and speed in their games. You dont really get to interact with the mountain much. Its more of a thing you would leave on while you work on something else and then check on it every once in a while to see if anything changed. But I think the simplicity of just leaving it on and waiting is what really makes it shine. I see some people wanting people or animals- something to do while waiting for something to happen, but I think adding things such as those would really defeat the purpose of the game. Although it may seem there isnt much to do, there are secrets to discover in Mountain. Secrets like if you play the notes on the bottom of the screen fast enough, you can speed up in-game time. Even though I wouldnt consider it as a game, it is still an interesting experience and worth $0.99, especially for the (supposed) 50 hours of gameplay. Moving off of that, there is a bug I encountered where about an hour and a half into the game, some of my items on my mountain started to disappear with a puff of smoke without me even touching it.

Bad news first: seems to be power hungry! With that said…… The good news: what a beautiful app!!! The graphics remind me of the old iTunes plugin soundscape, which I hope is still around. Mountain is the best.

A completely unique type of “game.” Without trying to be a snob, you ether “get” this game or you don’t. No judgement either way. However, the beauty, simplicity, and relaxing nature of this game can truly make for a joyful experience .. the first time night overtook the mountain, I was awestruck .. captivated by the simple aesthetic. This is a terrific stress-reliever of an app. Let go of preconception and try out its experience .. [hopefully] you won’t be disappointed.

This game will take you on a journey. It will change the way you view life. Spend a day with Mountain. You wont regret it.

This game is great but nothing ever falls on my mountain even though I have played for a day.

I thought that this game would be more of a city building and customization game like clash of clans or Dragon Vale. I was pretty upset to see that all you do is watch it and you cant build your own mountain and add people and animals and objects to it. :(

I absolutely adore this game on PC but now Im having some trouble trying to play the piano to get the secret stuff. Aside from the piano being more piano-y I absolutely love this...well you cant really call it a game, its more of an experience if anything. And to the prissy f*cks who cant interact with the game, sod off. Its about being a mountain, not changing anything.

This is not really a game. It is interactive but as far as I can tell there is no objective. I would prefer to have my dollar back.

Only problem is that some of my stuff just dissapears into nothingness without me touching them...

A while back I bought the computer version of this game on steam. I was very happy with the gameplay (or the lack thereof). I was very excited when I saw this game was on the iPad. For the people who are complaining that there is no gameplay, GOOGLE IT. In this game you draw your response to two or three questions, and then you receive a randomly generated mountain (hence the name). You can only view this mountain and somehow its entertaining, I dont know how or why. Things randomly appear on your mountain overtime. IT IS MAJESTIC.
