Maybe I just lack some puzzle solving desire or something but I couldnt figure out the point of this. It really didnt give me any idea of how to get started or why I should care. I spun the mountain around a bit, zoomed out, played some notes... Ok... Now what? I couldnt get past that stage and there was no clear indication that there even was anything past that. I also didnt figure out that the boxes at the start were for drawing in until the last one... Basically this app does not have enough interesting stuff / hints at what might be to come, to make me want to play it So, basically,

Youre a mountain. If you dont want to be one then dont buy the game. Its that simple.

Dont know what the point is but its pretty cool

Theres no point what so ever to this game, you watch a mountain grow a couple trees, and it rains all the time, waste of money. Dont waste your time

I never write review of game I play but I will make an exception for this one. This is complete garbage, dont even think of buying it or you will be ripped off like I did. When you enter the game, you feel like this game will be nice, there is nice graphics, a cool ambient and some nice music... But then you realize theres is nothing to do, nothing to interact witg. You then tell yourself "lets wait a little longer, something might be worth waiting a little", but half an hour in the game and still nothing.

This game makes you question every day life, even if you dont know what it means

Waste of money. Fake reviews. Does nothing it talk about the rain in 6 words.

Doesnt display the proper texture when zoomed out of the mountain, screen goes purple and the developer hasnt responded to complaints or made any updates to fix this problem. This issue is on an iPad 4, so if you use one, do not download this.

I dont care it doesnt show u mountain when u zoom out. I think when u need a calm quiet game you go to this! I dont need fancy graphics to love this game!

Boring, horrible, pointless. Its a mountain with a few trees, it rotates, it rains, the sun rises and sets. You can play a little tune to make it all happen faster. Big deal. Huge waste of money and time. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Its buggy. For me, the sound stops working. Had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working again (quitting, full reboot didnt work). Sound stopped working again

@Ndnfdndksmzbz Wow, people should be able to decide for themselves whether they like the game or not. Perhaps it was unwise to tell them to disregard the reviews as "fake". Fake reviews are very short and always come in massive bulk. Also, they are all very generic and usually all positive or all negative. My review: "Mountain" isnt necessarily a game about the weather, or a game about things falling on a mountain. Simply put, it is a game that serves as a place for meditation and self-reflection. You can think of it as a substitute for that one place in your childhood that you always felt safe in. Not only is "Mountain" a game of self-reflection, it is a well thought out idea that, in my opinion, promotes setting time aside and devoting it to peaceful silence. The Windows, OSX and Linux versions of Mountain all offer VR (virtual reality) support for the Oculus Rift and my hope is that support for Technical Illusions CastAR will be added later in 2015. Mountain is quite possibly the best game I have ever stumbled upon. You can rest assured it is capable of being the most life changing game you will ever play. Just know, this game is not meant for those who are looking to play a game -- it is meant for those looking for a truly life changing experience.

I have absolutely no idea what this is for. It is just a mountain with some stupid sound that does not seem real AT ALL. I wonder why I bought it.

No. This isnt a game. No points to score, aliens to kill or upgrades to buy. You get a mountain. You look at your mountain, and you can play a small musical instrument. Its got pretty graphics and nice sound. Thats it. It might keep you entertained for 5 minutes or 5 months, that depends on you. One tip, play the instrument faster and faster and notice what happens. Also play in space and on the ground. Worth a buck, but not much more.

I love this game so much! There are so many good things to say about it! Its relaxing, entertaining, mysterious, thought provoking, and so much more! I love seeing the mountain at nighttime the best. The fireflies are so amazing and I just love watching them. The ambient music is also amazing, its very relaxing and fits the game perfectly. If youre someone who loves mysterious, relaxing games then I highly recommend this game. It somehow reminds me of monument valley! I hope that the developer will continue to make games like this!!!! I look forward to seeing what is to come! Thank you for making such a beautiful game! ^^*
